An interesting thing is that items like sero gantung or traditional fish nets are also displayed in this museum. From its building structure and design, this museum has a Minahasa traditional home architecture.

This museum is accessible by city transportation such as mikrolet (minibus) and taxi. It will cost you only Rp. 2.000 (about 20 US cents) for each trip by public transportation.
This museum opens from Monday through Thursday at 08.30-09.00 local time, Friday at 08.30-11.30, and Saturday at 09.00-14.00 WIB. It is closed during Sundays and national holidays.
