Kendari City

Kendari is the capital of South East Sulawesi Province.

The airport in Kendari is Haluoleo Airport. The previous name of the airport was named for Robert Wolter Monginsidi. Since February 13, 2010, the airport is renamed to honor Buton Sultanate’s sixth sultan, Halu Oleo.

Haluoleo Airport serves flights to Bali, Gorontalo, Jakarta, Manado, Manokwari, Makassar, Palu, Semarang, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Balikpapan, Malang, and Ambon.
